Tellus
Corner mitering, scoring, and folding / gluing machine for the production of flexible “Dutch” covers, Semi-flexible Book Covers and Covers with flaps.
The “TELLUS” machine mitres all four corners, then creases, folds and glues the flaps of Flexible Book Covers.
Therefore the operator feeds the “Tellus” machine with just printed / laminated and trimmed cover stock. The covers are made completely in one pass with no need for any die cutting and creasing.
Precision of mitering operation is controlled by PLC ensuring accuracy. Each pair of cutting tools is easily adjustable, one pair in both axes. Therefore the machine is suitable for short as well as longer runs.
The “Tellus” is supplied with four individual sets of tooling, which can also be made by skilled die makers.
